Do you remember how to play Blackjack?
Good. BRAINJACK twists that familiar game into a paranoid deckbuilding roguelike where every card you draw shapes the attack, defense, and madness you unleash.

BRAINJACK is a horror-comedy gambling roguelike inspired by Blackjack, fused with deckbuilding, low-poly dread, and a machine that wants to watch you crack.

MONEY IS NOT YOUR OBJECTIVE

You are a death row inmate trapped inside the GLMB01 SYSTEM, forced to gamble for your life against a grinning judge-machine with too many eyes and too much power.

Your defeat isn't important.
It wants to open your head.

Each round, the machine projects useless abominations only a sleep-deprived, chemically damaged brain could invent.

HOW IT WORKS

1. HIT to draw cards and get as close as possible to 21
2. Each card contains a symbol instead of a classic face card: sword, shield, and other effects that determine what happens when you act
3. Choose which SEED to enhance and build your strategy during the run
4. STAND to reveal your hand and trigger the actions tied to your cards

The closer you are to 21, the stronger your multiplier.
But go over 21, and you bust, leaving yourself open as the enemy immediately attacks.

Every extra card could be the one that kills you.

BUILD YOUR HAND

Between fights, visit shops to reshape your run:

• Upgrade your cards
• Add new symbols and effects to your deck
• Buy Memory Cards with strange powers and run-changing abilities

Build around risk, defense, aggression, or pure unstable nonsense. Survive long enough, and maybe you can beat the machine at its own game.
